All patients receive access to the Akute patient portal, where you can view visit notes, summaries, medications, allergies, and lab results.

Meristem Family Medicine partners with Quest Diagnostics. Phlebotomy is currently provided off-site. Find a Quest Lab Near You
Lab results are available in the Akute patient portal.
Labs sent to Quest may be processed through insurance or paid using Quest’s client pricing, which is often less expensive.
Point-of-Care Testing
Onsite testing, including strep, flu, COVID, pregnancy, and urine testing, is included in your membership when clinically appropriate.

We will contact you via Spruce with the results of imaging studies ordered by Dr. Sam. Please reach out if you have not heard from us within one week of your imaging study.

Meristem is closed for most major holidays. Planned closures will be communicated in advance via Spruce, including instructions for urgent needs. For unanticipated closures due to illness, weather, or emergencies, patients will be notified as soon as possible

Please allow up to 2 business days for routine medication refills. Refills requiring insurance prior authorization may take additional time.
