A Note About Insurance:
Meristem Family Medicine is a Direct Primary Care practice, which means I do not bill or accept health insurance for your membership or primary care visits. Your membership fee is paid directly to the practice.
You may notice that the registration form asks for your insurance information. Hint, our membership platform, collects this information as part of its standard patient registration process. Providing your insurance information does not mean that your insurance will be billed for your membership or visits with me.
Your insurance information may also be useful when I order and send out laboratory testing or imaging for you. These services are performed by outside facilities, which may bill your insurance directly
Please note: Although Hint will ask for your insurance information during registration, Meristem does not bill insurance for membership fees or primary care visits.
